Farewell Mountain Smilers, farewell, farewell

Pray read this last story I’m about to tell

I’ll miss the runs and the In and Out

The after run feast is what it’s all about

Au revoir mes amis adieu, adieu

May your legs ever be true to you

To Dan and Dan run hard and run fast

To Rob and Jim you must never be passed

Joi gin pang yau, joi gin, joi gin

Eating while running was never a sin

But Twinkies and Coke are rather extreme

Although for Ken they helped fulfill his dream

Auf weidersehen, mein freund (Heidi and Tim)

Keep me updated – is it a her or a him?

Remember that speed is always your friend

Come see me in Singapore or an e-mail just send

Vachchneta chingu, Heather this one’s for you

Good luck in grad school, it’s suited to you

Keep running the long ones, when you get bored you can spell

Move up to the front and shout “give me an L”

Sayonara tomadoshi to you Heidi 2

Do svidanja drug and Ciao amicos too

Come back and see us and bring that marine

We’ll look for you one day on the big screen

Adios amigos Serena the swift

Look for the strong current in which to drift

Work hard to make the best of your skills

And when you’re down in the dumps go for a run in the hills

To Steve my pace buddy, adios, adios

Next year I’m sure you will beat that horse

I enjoyed the walks when the going was tough

As a miler-smiler you’ve got the right stuff

Goodbye, farewell my friends on the run

Keep talking to turn the chore into fun

I enjoyed the company, most of the time

Except when Skull Valley and Jerome hills we did climb
