First off good luck to the contingent headed to Boston later this week.  Have fun, race well, kiss at Welsley, drink at BC, bring back pictures, stories and memories of a life time, and marathon personal bests.

Up coming races to keep in mind:  May 1st Whiskey Row Marathon, half-marathon, 10K and fun run, the pasta dinner the evening before is always fun, breaking bread with fellow runners.

May 22 Chino Valley Spring Fest 5K, fun fast, and pretty flat for around here.  Race #1 in Flagstaff Summer Running Series Run for the Mountain School 5K & 10K.

May 23 Get Your Rear in Gear 5K at Sky-Y camp near Groom Creek off Senator Hwy.

Skull Valley is in the books, Rob won with a PR of 38:01.  Great event, let's try to keep it as small as it is we really clean up.  All the Mountain Milers brought home the goods.  In their first races John (Deb's sweetie) got first in age, and Sara got second in age.  We better look out if they keep this up.

With the group heading to Boston, I was thinking this week we would meet at the fitness center at Hassayampa, run up to Copper Basin, head up the mountain then come back.  This will be more difficult but will give those running the half or full a better look at the course.  Meet Sunday at 8:30, like usual.
