We can also lay claim to a member from as far away as Minneapolis, Minnesota in Jeff Kathan.
There have been several notable "Jeff sightings" as he flew in to run with Ken in the PF Chang Phoenix marathon (1/06) the past 2 years, new Las Vegas marathon (12/05) and Jeff even flew in for the Whiskey Row marathon last year! Jeff is an accomplished Ultra-marathon runner with about 20 finishes including multiple completions of the 62 Mile Edmund Fitz and the 24 hour FANS races in Minnesota! We will see Jeff at Whiskey Row again this May...

Peeps-
Ok so you aren't a fast runner. You are out of shape. You want to look better and feel better. There is no magic, everyone in our club has been there at some time and some of us still are there! We have had several new members in the past couple weeks and now is a good time for you to join us with the weather about to get a little cooler and the monsoon rains/humidity about to be a memory.
We have a huge variety of ages and ability and none of that seems to matter to anyone in our group. When it is time for you, seek us out via our calendar. We are a fun and supportive group. Nobody is going to make fun of you (well maybe Ken will but we all ignore him anyway). Anybody can run but with our group you will learn to run better, faster and with less effort.
Come on out. Just put on some sneakers and walk up to anyone in our group and before you leave that night you'll have a group of new friends. Just do it...
